The Legacy is Subaru's full-time all-wheel drive entry in the hotly contended midsize sedan segment.
The Legacy is available with a 170-hp naturally-aspirated 2.5-liter four-cylinder with a six-speed manual (or optional six-speed CVT), or a 265-hp turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder with a six-speed manual, or a new for this year, 3.6-liter six-cylinder with a five-speed automatic. The CVT and automatic transmissions feature a manual mode with paddle levers on the steering wheel. Limited models feature leather seating, a six-disc 440-watt nine-speaker harman/kardon audio system, dual-zone automatic climate control and Bluetooth hands-free phone capability.
The 2011 Legacy receives standard XM satellite radio and folding exterior mirrors on all models. The 2.5GT Limited gains fog lights, aluminum pedals and a power moonroof as standard equipment.
