A more rugged version of the Impreza, the Outback Sport offers excellent handling and all-weather capability at an affordable price.
The Outback Sport is a five-passenger wagon powered by a 170-hp, 2.5-liter four-cylinder that teams with a standard five-speed manual or optional four-speed automatic. All-wheel drive is standard. Safety features on all models include dual front airbags, front side-impact airbags, and seatbelts with pre-tensioners for the front seats. Four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, traction-control and stability-control are also standard.
The Outback Sport carries over into 2010 with minimal changes.
